Jonathan is amongst the nominees in the television categories for the Golden Globe Awards.
He has been nominated for 'Best Actor' award in the television drama series 'The Tudors', which is also up for the award of 'Best Televison Series'.
He is up against Michael C Hall ('Dexter'), Jon Hamm ('Mad Men'), Hugh Laurie ('House') and Bill Paxton ('Big Love').
